Paris

I actually wasn't that impressed with the Mona Lisa. I did like this painting, however. It's Lotto's "La Femme Adultere." The Mona Lisa is like a Gap hoodie: nobody knows why they like it so much, they're just told they're supposed to.

It goes without saying...

As does this one...

I really enjoyed the bread, cheese and wine. The cheese shops smelled like feet but tasted like heaven.

It has come to my attention that this blog looks a little disorganized. Not sure what the deal is. It looks fine on my computer when I post it, so sorry.

Hi Rob! I'm so glad you found my blog. I love that Cynthia and you are living overseas. What fun! RJ and I took a 3 month backpacking trip our first year of marriage and we loved everything about Europe - particularly the stinky feet smelling cheese shops full of incredible dairy wonderfulness.

And you're still a youth pastor which is great news. Do you hang with high schoolers or junior highers? Or whatever they're called over there in the UK.

Tell Cynthia I say "hello". I can't believe she's getting her PHD. Good for her, she's was always academically driven (wish I could say the same from myself. My BA is enough for me right now!).

Do you still have the hairless cat?

When are you due to host the Antique Road Show? And i do appreciate Erica's line, "Love seeing that melon right in front of the Eiffel Tower." That is priceless...kind of like the Mona Lisa...

Side note...we sent you a package way back in December...it had pictures and only Deborah knows what in it...it was just returned to us yesterday...wrong address...so I need to double check I have your info right...because I am guessing I don't. The post man was real positive when he handed it to me...he said, "These things never come back once they go overseas." Awesome.
